5-6th DECEMBER – NORRSKEN HOUSE, STOCKHOLM
Do you, like us, desire an inspiring vision of business leadership anchored in the reality of these times?
This two-day conference is for business leaders eager to co-create a more vibrant world. We will tackle the most pressing questions in today’s corporate landscape, invite you to explore communities experimenting at the forefronts, and give you a taste of cutting-edge leadership practices—all while offering opportunities to connect with fellow passionate leaders shaping the future.
We are in the midst of a paradigm shift, transitioning from an industrial society to a new societal model enabled by digital technologies. This time of profound uncertainty and inevitable change calls for the invention of new approaches to leadership and organization, as old paradigms no longer address current challenges. The Leading at the Edge conference will explore these new approaches, inviting you to adopt fresh perspectives on thinking, being, and doing.
Agenda
DAY 1
Exploring the edge - Thursday December 5th
On the first day, we will introduce thought leaders and practitioners who offer impactful wisdom, guidance, and perspectives for navigating the business landscape in the digital era. You will gain inspiration from organizations and leaders experimenting at the fringes of collaboration and leadership, while connecting with forward-thinking peers who share bold, yet pragmatic, visions for the future. Alongside mind-expanding insights, you have the opportunity to participate in embodied experiences that explore how to lead with aliveness, heart, and courage, integrating cutting-edge concepts like Somatic Leadership and balancing Masculine and Feminine Leadership principles. The goal is to offer you a transformative understanding of business in the internet age, providing inspiration and profound shifts in perspective. Additionally, we aim to create a shared language and common meta-perspectives, establishing a strong foundation for future collaboration and mutual support as we do our best to navigate the uncharted and dynamic landscape of the digital era.
DAY 2
Prototyping the new - Friday December 6th
The second day provides the chance to tackle your own and others' real challenges, applying the insights from day one. Before day two, we will gather your cases, challenges, and key questions to help shape the day’s agenda. The focus will be on interactive group work, where you can either present a case to work on or help others explore their pressing issues. This is a rare opportunity to work on some of the most interesting cases in the birth of the digital era, alongside business leaders who have been carefully selected for their progressive approaches. We will use collaborative processes to address your pressing challenges, guided by hosts with significant experience in leading impactful group problem-solving. Conference speakers will also be present throughout the day, offering their insights and guidance, providing you with valuable feedback from respected voices in the field.
Leading at the Edge - Beyond
This conference serves as an initiation into an exclusive network of thought leaders and practitioners who recognize that things are radically changing and are beginning to grasp what these changes could mean for the future. Following the success of our last conference, participants expressed a desire for continued engagement. The greatest need voiced was for ongoing mutual support and collaboration, as it is difficult to find other leaders who truly understand the magnitude of the transformation ahead in the digital era. Our goal is to foster a community where leaders driving real change can inspire each other, exchange best practices, and provide mutual support.
The coming decade will be pivotal in shaping the new business landscape, and we are dedicated to supporting leaders who can influence this emerging new era, helping it become a wise, courageous and flourishing one.
Speakers and Day 1 Seminars
Alexander Bard
Capitalism versus Spirituality - The Impossible but Necessary Combination for Leadership and Management in the Digital Era
Alexander Bard, a renowned cyber philosopher, will guide participants through a meta-narrative that makes sense of the current paradigm shift and its profound effects on leadership. In this thought-provoking seminar, Alexander will explore the collision between capitalism’s commercial motives and the spiritual aspects of attentionalism, the emerging paradigm. He will challenge participants to reflect on how these two seemingly opposed forces can or cannot coexist in the digital era and the role AI plays in reshaping leadership and management practices.
Together with Jan Söderqvist, Alexander authored six books that present a novel view of historical progress through the lens of information technology. His insights into the digital future have positioned him as a leading global voice on business and leadership.
You will leave with a fresh framework for understanding key challenges leaders will face as they navigate this new paradigm, offering insights into what it takes to lead in the age of digital networks.
